Stations of Generosity (SOG)
The Stations of Generosity (SOG) is a leadership development initiative of the Bible Students’ Fellowship of Bangladesh (BSFB) that equips students, graduates, and local ministry leaders to cultivate a biblical lifestyle of generosity and faithful stewardship. We believe that God has entrusted every believer with valuable resources—time, talents, relationships, and finances—to be used for His Kingdom.
Through SOG, BSFB helps participants discover that generosity is not simply about giving money; it is about faithfully using everything God has provided to advance His mission. By developing a culture of generosity, local ministries become stronger, more sustainable, and better equipped to reach students with the Gospel.
Our Purpose
The Stations of Generosity program seeks to:
- Teach the biblical principles of generosity, stewardship, and faithful resource management.
- Equip students, graduates, and local coordinators to identify and mobilize resources within their own communities.
- Develop practical leadership skills for fundraising, volunteer engagement, and ministry planning.
- Strengthen the long-term sustainability of student ministries through local ownership and participation.
How the Program Works
The SOG program is delivered through interactive, small-group training sessions held in different regions of Bangladesh. These localized workshops provide participants with practical tools and biblical teaching that can be immediately applied in their ministry contexts.
Participants explore topics such as biblical generosity, stewardship, resource mobilization, community engagement, fundraising, and strategic planning. Through discussions, practical exercises, and real-life examples, they learn how to recognize and utilize the resources already available within their churches and communities.
Following each training, BSFB staff members continue to mentor and encourage participants as they implement what they have learned. This ongoing support helps strengthen local ministries and promotes lasting transformation.
Lasting Impact
The Stations of Generosity initiative is helping to build a new generation of Christian leaders who serve with generosity, integrity, and vision. Participants become confident resource mobilizers who can strengthen their local ministries through faithful stewardship and community partnership.
As the culture of generosity grows, local BSFB groups become increasingly self-sustaining, enabling them to organize outreach events, discipleship programs, leadership training, and other ministry activities with greater local ownership. Through SOG, BSFB is investing in leaders who will faithfully steward God’s resources and contribute to the long-term growth of student ministry throughout Bangladesh.
