Committee Members Training Camp (CMTC)
10 Days of Transformation
Equipping students for Christ-centered leadership and lifelong discipleship
Committee Members Training Camp (CMTC) is an intensive 10-day residential training program designed to shape students into spiritually mature, servant-hearted leaders. Because of busy academic calendars, many students often wait 4 to 5 years for a chance to attend CMTC. This makes the CMTC a highly anticipated and life-shaping experience for both students and BSFB staff. CMTC offers a unique opportunity for students to gain leadership experience within their teams and learn how to serve others effectively. Students are trained to take initiative in group Bible studies and lead their peers with wisdom and grace.
Core Teachings
Students receive practical and Biblical training in key areas of group leadership, including:
- Biblical doctrines
- Servant leadership grounded in Scripture
- Team leadership strategies
- Personal and group Bible study methods
- Responsibilities and roles within groups and committees
- Stewardship of people and resources
At the heart of CMTC is a strong theological foundation. The training covers 11 essential Christian doctrines, such as: Trinity, Sovereignty of God, Holy Scriptures, Sin, Salvation, Church, Second Coming of Christ, and more.
The training goes beyond the classroom. The daily schedule includes:
- Quiet time
- Personal and group Bible studies
- Heartfelt worship and prayer times
- Moments of surrender, spiritual revival, and reflection
- Interactive group activities that reinforce learning and unity
These elements create a powerful environment for students to be deeply transformed— emotionally, spiritually, and missionally
Why It Matters
CMTC is not just a training program; it’s a doorway into a deeper life with Christ and a clearer understanding of His calling. It equips students not only with knowledge but also with the spiritual discipline, leadership tools, and heart to serve their groups, campuses, and churches.
Testimony:
Despite facing various challenges, both personal and institutional, God opened the door for me to attend the 2024 CMTC, and it became one of the greatest blessings of my life. I truly believe CMTC is a place where lives are transformed. The training covered 11 essential Christian doctrines, and I received invaluable teaching on what it means to be a Christ-centered servant leader. One of the most impactful sessions for me was on silent meditation, which helped me deepen my relationship with God and sparked a genuine passion for reading the Bible. Before CMTC, I had some misunderstandings about certain teachings, but through this training, I gained a clearer and more accurate understanding, especially about the nature of the Trinity—how God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one in essence but three distinct persons. The training also taught me what it means to be a servant leader, the qualities a leader should possess, and how to communicate effectively. Inspired by these lessons, I’ve begun to make changes in my life so I can better embody servant leadership. Since attending CMTC, I’ve noticed a significant shift in my life. I now spend more time with God and actively seek to build loving and friendly relationships with those around me. The time spent at CMTC—learning, growing, and sharing in love—was truly the best time of my life. — Kathin Bairagi, CMTC participant
